Comrades

Mister Pavvke's memories

As I was walking in Bastok Mines one day I met Mister Pavvke. He invited me to his home for lunch. He had a yummy pot of bunny stew on the fire.

We sat down and he talked about Bastok and its people. He also told me a story of how he worked in the Palborough Mines with his fellow mining comrades. Cornelia stop in briefly, as Mister Pavvke told me his story, and she spoke of silver name tags. How she wanted to find some for Mister Pavvke, the tags belonged to the individuals who lost their lives in an accident. There had been an explosion in the mines and Mister Pavvke lost many of his comrades. As he talks about the days in Palborough he always gets a sad look upon his face as he remembers that day long ago.

He stood up to look at the wall where he displays the picture of the days in the mines. And seemed lost in his thoughts of the past. It was then that I decided to go and visit Palborough Mines to look for the tags of his fallen comrades.

I rented a chocobo and went to the mines. There were abandoned tools and mining cars. I came across one tag that I found on a quadav. I guess they like shiny things. I took the barge, that was once used to transport the materials to Bastok, to get back to Zehrun Mines. And gave the tag I found to Mister Pavvke.

Strange Things

It was an odd sight. I'm not sure what I saw but... yeah you figure it out yourself.

Celestial Nights

M.H.M.U.

The moogles are back.. They are teleporting people to the three cities. I visited each city and got a sprig of bamboo grass from each nation. The moogle has been giving me a gift of chocobo tickets each time I teleport.

The story of celestial nights is long, I remember hearing it a child. The short version... princess meets prince. They send each other poems because they lived far from each other. Prince goes to battle and dies. Hanging haikus from the bamboo is to remember the friendship they had....

My dear friend bunny,
Would you like to play with me?
Oh fun, bounce, flip, spin!

Why the dirt in my eye?
Want to play? I'll play with you!
Swish, poke, swipe, whack, smack!

Did I get your eye?
Where did your fuzzy tail go?
Flying in the sky.

Did you need that ear?
Don't worry you have one more.
Oopsy, no you don't.

Hugs, I still like you.
No eye, fuzzy tail and ears.
Come and play with me.

I will name you George.
You can come and live with me,
Meet my dear moogle

Moo will sew your tail.
And fix your ears like new,
Patch your eye, or sigh.

So no more dust kicks,
And I will not use my sword,
Play again, more fun!

Fire on a mountain

Bastok is where most Humes and Galkas live and I meet new people everyday. I went to find myself a meal while wandering around Metalworks. I came across the Craftsman Eatery. Here I met Hungry Wolf. He was quite large, towering over me. He talked about foods from near and far.

He mentioned a fire in Gustaberg. So I went with some sheep meat to the fire. I placed the meat on the fire and let it cook for a day. The sheep meat turned into a galkan sausage. I'm not sure how this fire works or why the sheep meat I place on the fire turns itself into a sausage.

I took a sausage back to Hungry wolf, and he gave me a bit of gil for it. I sure hope he enjoys it.

I wonder if I eat more I can grow to be as large as a galka. But then I would not be able to hide as easily. Must be difficult finding armor that fits. But Hungry wolf wasn't wearing much.

Crabs yummy!

Another day at the beach

I was in Highlands doing a Hot and Cold game with Hanahime and decided to walk over to Dune for a walk in the sand. The white sand can be quite blinding during fire weather. I was just going to take the Outpost warp back to town when I saw a.... if you guessed bunny you are not correct... I saw a crab. I started to poke it with my spear. The squeeky noises it makes are funny. I left the dune bunnies alone this time. Crab meat, crab shells, and rock salt. When I could not hold anymore things I headed back to bastok.

-.-

Something to think about...

Are people who use windower and other third party programs cheaters?

And can they really say the game is easy when they are not playing the game with its original features?(If I take a test and have the answer, is it really that big of an accomplishment?)
