eggs eggs eggs

The moogles are back. And they are handing out eggs. I was lucky enough to find a great egg dealer. Roucian has all the letters that you will need.I took out my other eggs from storage. The newest ones do not glow, they make sounds. San d'Oria's plays music and Bastok's chimes. My favorite is the one from Windurst. It is a hatchling. These two big round eye peer out from it, you can see it blink occasionally and hear grrr grrr grrr.
My moogle better watch out if what ever is inside finally decides to break out of its shell.

Doll Festival

[Picture of pink trees will not be posted, I do not know where the screenshots are.]
The trees are blooming.

I found a Bonbori and Festival Dolls from M.H.M.U. in my mailbox. Now my moghouse is a glow with festival lanterns.

These dolls are kind of creepy. Their eyes are always on me no matter where I am in the moghouse.

Myehehe...

Mew mew mew mew mew Meooow... Tulutululu~ Meow!

When I first got to Aht I met a little mithra girl, Ahkk. She really wanted something to write on.
Today I remembered her wish and bought her some parchment and black ink.

She scribbled happily for a little while. She cheerfully talked to herself as she wrote things down to try and remember things. I was able to learn some information about Al Zahbi's back alleys. Hopefully this will help me get around the large city.

There are so many stairs, walkways, courtyards, doorways... a person can easily get lost.

Starlight Celebration.

The moogles are back in town. Everything is sparkly and decorated for the Starlight Celebration. Moogles seem to be over worked.

They have many items to hand out but they don't seem to be giving them to the right people. Helping them finding the people they are looking for takes a while. The moogles don't seem to have a good memory.

I did get a Dream robe and Dream boots from them.

I also got three belts. The one I like the best is the Rabbit belt. I get to hop around in a bunny costume.

There were so many people surrounding the moogle. No wonder they are so confused.

It has been a long while since I have seen so much shouting in towns. And so many people running around in red.

The Smile bringers are are encouraging adventures to dress up to fool the children of Van'diel. Having people wear a red hat to hand out gifts to the children.

Y

Recently I have taken up a side job other than monk. I was training to be a monk to improve my abilities as a warrior. But decided that I would try thief. Seems odd to be defending myself with a dagger. I prefer a larger weapon, I especially like lances and tridents.

MOM!

While browsing the Jeuno auction house, to my surprise there stood Mom.

Mom seems to have interesting things to say. Quite shocking things about Galkas. I think mom really likes Galkas and wishes to be one. Actually.. Mom was try tell some tall tale of once being a Tarutaru long ago. What Tarutaru would want to spend their life being a Mithra?

Maybe mom took one of those magical items that changes a being into someone else and is now stuck being a Mithra.

The Green Lady

One cloudy day in North Gustaberg I saw this wandering sapling maiden. She had an unusual name. She merrily hopped around, not pausing a bit when I called out to her. I nudged at her a few times with my trident to get her attention. After a while she gave me an optical earring.

The Magicites

While in Jeuno I was able to get an audience with the Archduke. He wanted to get some items from the three beastmen strongholds. The Archduke said he would give me an airship pass if I was able to get him the stones.

Aldo was staring at his map when I got to his office. Verena stop by for a short while and spoke to Aldo, Something that Verena said will always stick in my mind. There's more to life than what you see in front of you. We are all flowing on the river of life, not just watching from the banks. Verena was concerned about Fickblix. I am not really sure why. I think she just worries about everyone.
Aldo gave me a Silver bell to help me get to the magicite in Beadeaux. I went to see Sattal-Mansal for the other two items that would allow me to enter in to the area with the magicite. Sattal asked for a Quadav Augury shell and a Quadav Charm. Once he had these he gave me what I needed.

Looking for more items that would allow me passage to the magicites, I stop in at Muckvix's Junk Shop. Muckvix sent me on an errand. I visited Paya-Sabya in upper Jeuno where he was waiting for his plants to sprouty-wout.When I went back to visit with Muckvix, he mention that I would have to light some torches. Flickblix walked in and had a torch that he was able to spare. He was head to Castle Oztroja. Seems odd that a goblin would be traveling to visit the yagudos.

While in Upper Jeuno I also spoke to Baudin. He has a sister named Audra who is ill. She craves raw meat. Baudin gave me a crest of Davoi for a piece of Coeurl meat. Audra took the meat to her room, all we heard was munching. I was a bit disturbed that she said "...drenched in bright red blood!"

My first magicite I went to was the one in Castle Oztroja. Fickie died. The Magicite has memories of converstion. I saw images of Star Sybil, Karah-Barauha. Also yagudos.. Gawk! Gawk!... Kahk!... Kahk-ka-ka....

At Beadeaux, I saw images of Ulrich killing quadavs. Cornelia and Raogrinm were with him. Raogrinm said the quadavs were trying to protect their eggs.

I went to Davoi. More images from the past, of people and things that happened.

Lion showed up. And we saw the Shadow of Darkness.

But in the end I went back to the Archduke and presented him with the Opitistone, Aurastone and Orastone.

I was given an airship pass. And when I went to my embassy they promoted me to Rank 5.

A bunny

A day of shopping in Jeuno and what do i see? A cage. What a great idea! A bunny cage that hangs from the ceiling.

I would have to get a larger home if I wanted to get bunny cages. Right now it is crowded with Moogle in my one room home.

The tower that never seemed to end.

I was sent to Jeuno to talk to the ambassador. When I got there I was told he was not in, and he had gone to investigate something in Delkfutt Tower. Well I went out to Qufim and entered Delkfutt Tower.

I ran around for many hours. Using teleport pads, running up spiral stairs, and avoiding the holes in the floors. There were bats, giants, goblins, etc. that I avoided. Finally on the 10th floor, opened a door to see a beastmaster had cleared the room of all the giants. I waited and waited, and waited some more.
Giants started to fill the room. I was waiting for Porphyrion. He showed up and I was able to get a Delkfutt key from him. This key is what I used to take the elevator. I was a little disappointed the elevator didn't take me to the basement. I ran down a very long spiral staircase, which made me a bit dizzy.

There I found the ambassador faced down on the floor. I don't remember what he told me. I later met him back at the embassy in Ru'Lude Gardens. All I remember is that tower that never seemed to end. It didn't even seem to be that tall from outside.

BEWARE the bastoker!

As I adventure near and far, I alway carry my signet staff with me. To ensure that I have signet as I fight in the name of Bastok. I also whack fellow Bastokers so they too can carry the symbol of Bastok with them.

Yes, I sometimes sneak up on people that I know and smack them with the staff. I am not very good at sneaking up on people. I do not think I will ever have a job as a Thief. Thinking Guan was distracted by his chocobo, I tried a swing or two with my trusty signet staff.

So for all of you out there... BEWARE the bastoker stalker!

Once upon a time...

Once upon a time in a Kingdom called Bastok there lived a warrior named Jioji. An exciting adventure all started one day when she was given a mission to visit the neighboring nations.

When she got to San d'Oria she stop in at the Consulate of Bastok and spoke to Helaku. This jolly fellow represented Bastok. Helaku had her speak to Halver. Halver spoke of the Orcs in Ghelsba Outpost. Jioji was sent to slay an Orc named Warchief Vatgit.

An outpost trip to Buburimu Peninsula made the trip to Windurst a little shorter than a Chocobo ride from Bastok. Melek at the Consulate located in Port Windurst spoke of Yagudos and daggers.

Then the best of the adventure a dragon!
Join by fellow adventures Jioji entered a battle field where a Black dragon and Seacher waited for them. They were not to be defeated. Breaking the current record of the fight with a time of 4 minutes and 48 seconds.

101 days old

It was a few weeks ago that I decided it was time to leave the care of Hanahime to someone else. He will be staying with all the other retired chocobos. I received a green chocobo plaque and a certificate.

I chose to retire Hime early because I have moved to Sand'Oria for a little while and would not be able to care for him from such a far distance. I have business in Sand'Oria that will only allow me to return to Bastok periodically. Moo has moved into my rented room in Sand'Oria. He seems unaffected by the change.

Raising a chocobo takes up time and energy. Maybe when I have settled back into my Bastok home I might be able to raise another chocobo.

It was nice to talk with the Bastok trainer and remember all the time spent with Hime. Things that happened so long ago... I didn't remember most of it.

I will still be able to see Hime if I use my chocobo whistle. I might even do some races when I am back in Bastok.

Frightening moment

It all started one normal Vana' diel Windsday. I spent the day strolling in Bastok Markets, finishing up some errands. Like usual I occasionally stop to chat with a few people. I sat at Firewater Circle for a little while to enjoy the fountain mist and had lunch. Lunch was a bunny sandwich and some grapes that Moo packed in my bag for me. The grapes were Sand'Orian grapes that I had bought when I went on my trip to Sand'Oria.

Ah. My trip to Sand'Oria, that reminds me... One day when I got home I found Moo all by himself, cooking up some stew. Moo said our friend Blood bunny had to leave because of an emergency. I was a little saddened, not being able to bid farewell to him.

Back to the so called normal Windsday... I did my window shopping at Dragon Claws Weaponry Store and Carmelide's Jewelry. All those shiny things. No purchases for me. Moo would be upset if I cluttered up the house with things I do not use.

So... this brings me to the frightening moment. I got home a bit tired from all the walking. So maybe I was just dreaming. This is how I remember it... I was talking with Moo and suddenly he burst into flames and sparks.

Moo in flames.

I am not sure what it was. If he was fuming angry. Or if I had sun heat affecting my vision. Just as I was reaching for a bucket of water, the flames disappeared. In a bit of shock I didn't say anything. Moo acted like nothing happened and did a twirl. I'll ask him about it another day, or maybe visit the doctor and ask about flaming moogles.

Team work...

Long, long ago I was in Sandoria. I was asked by Vilatroire to form into a group. Each task of forming a group had a different requirement. Let me think... Same nation, Bastok... Same race, Hume... Same job, we did white mage.

All the Elvaans in the watch tower were part of a group that works to guard Sand'Oria. They are loyal to each other. They trust each other to do what they need to do.

We had gathered here to get a Mage's ballad scroll for Eckardt. Kaname joined us to add another Hume from Bastok into the bunch. Toaster who seems to be invisible must have been running to us as I took the picture. And Valynne joined in to do the same job group.

What is this guy thinking?

I happened upon Ruillont he was hiding behind a rock. He was wearing leather armor and did not have a sword. I rather not insult people and tell them what they should and should not be wearing. I think each person should learn on their own what they need to do.

Well he insisted that his friends would be there soon with a sword for him. I got rid of a few crabs that were near by. I gave him some roasted rabbit and a loaf of bread, and wished him luck. I then went on my way. I think he is at a safe spot, he should be fine for a while.

Moo: Perfect

I've been thinking about something I heard at a funeral. "Man is not perfect." And just recently I talked to someone that brought up that very same subject, that man is not perfect. Of course there was more to that conversation... but this one statement sticks with me as I ponder it often. "Man is not perfect." Why does man need to be perfect? What does it mean to be perfect? Are we all not perfect, since nobody can be who we are?(We are our perfect selves.) What is the need to be better than others? Why must people stomp on others to make themselves feel better? Or even... why must people think others are just trying to hurt them? Where do all these insecurities and fears come from?

Tarutaru slaves?

I asked these Tarutaru... do you not get tired dancing all day? He said "This is what I am here to do, it does not matter if I feel tired or not." With a smile she said "This is my job." The Tarutaru in Windurst were doing a bit of marching around the fountian. And in all nations they were high up in the platforms dancing.

Someone needs to form a Tarutaru union. I don't think they are getting a very good deal here. Day and night dancing and dancing. Standing in one spot. If I had to do that I think my arms would fall off.

If the Moogles can have a union I seriously think these Tarutaru should have one too.

Bun.. bun.. Blood Bunny blood.

Bun bun bun...

Ordelles Cave has the cute bunnies.

So I attempted to convince one of them to come visit my moogle. But they were rather playful. With a touch of their foot on me, a cloud of magenta would appear. Was this an illusion or was this blood?

When the bunny used his tail, yellow sparks flew out and glittered in the air. Moo would so enjoy a friend like Blood Bunny.

What a great dodge that was! Feisty ball of fur. A quick spin and a whip of his tail. My sword fell without a touch on his hair. The quickness and speed, what fun!

Oh? What is this? Pblft... Cough... Gwack... Dusty dust. Ooooohhh... was a lovely dust move. The whole area was filled like a wild dust storm. I could just make out the figure of the bunny in front of me. He did not run away, but stayed to have more fun and play. Blood Bunnies have no fear and do not run and hide.
I managed to create a pretty blue light glow. Bunnies are not the only ones that are able to do sparkles.

My great sword skill increased with all the training on Blood bunnies. I had to move with better accuracy and intent, for Blood Bunnies do not fool around. They have skills that I tried to match.

I switched from my great sword to my lance. My newest lance is a pretty blue fork. I was showing Bloody bunny how a fork is used. He dodged my first lunge. But I was able to get his ears on the second one. He was lucky he did not jump up or he would have lost an eye or two.In the end Blood bunny gave me a hug. We had so much fun. He agreed to come stay with Moo for a few days. I blew on my chocobo whistle and Hanahime appeared. We headed to Sand'Oria for some shopping. We were also able to picked up a chocobo that needed to returned to Bastok. So we did not have to pay for our chocobo ride back home.

Bun... bun... bun.

Comrades

Mister Pavvke's memories

As I was walking in Bastok Mines one day I met Mister Pavvke. He invited me to his home for lunch. He had a yummy pot of bunny stew on the fire.

We sat down and he talked about Bastok and its people. He also told me a story of how he worked in the Palborough Mines with his fellow mining comrades. Cornelia stop in briefly, as Mister Pavvke told me his story, and she spoke of silver name tags. How she wanted to find some for Mister Pavvke, the tags belonged to the individuals who lost their lives in an accident. There had been an explosion in the mines and Mister Pavvke lost many of his comrades. As he talks about the days in Palborough he always gets a sad look upon his face as he remembers that day long ago.

He stood up to look at the wall where he displays the picture of the days in the mines. And seemed lost in his thoughts of the past. It was then that I decided to go and visit Palborough Mines to look for the tags of his fallen comrades.

I rented a chocobo and went to the mines. There were abandoned tools and mining cars. I came across one tag that I found on a quadav. I guess they like shiny things. I took the barge, that was once used to transport the materials to Bastok, to get back to Zehrun Mines. And gave the tag I found to Mister Pavvke.

Strange Things

It was an odd sight. I'm not sure what I saw but... yeah you figure it out yourself.
